Transilvania University of Brașov is constantly engaged in scientific research and education projects, in grants and contracts, which are financed either from public or from private national and international sources. The funding for the projects and grants in which the university’s academics and researchers are involved results from the participation in national competitions (National Plan for Research, Development and Innovation PNCDI) as well as in international ones (Horizon 2020, Erasmus Plus). The contracts for scientific research, technical support and technological transfer are supported by companies and other organizations, such as public institutions and NGOs.

The university’s Project Management Office (BMP) provides assistance in preparing the applications for funding and in financially implementing the projects, grants and contracts.
