Places in the competition

You can consult HERE the list of doctoral supervisors by fields for the 2024 admission competition. Admission to doctoral studies at Transilvania University of Brașov is done for places funded from the state budget (without paying tuition fees) and places with tuition fees, for the following forms of education:

Scientific Doctorate (full-time only) 

  •  full-time with scholarship (budget) - CFB-S; 
  •  full-time with tuition fee - CFT-S;

Professional Doctorate 

  • full-time with scholarship (budget) - CFB-P; 
  • part-time without scholarship (budget) - FRB-P; 
  • full-time with tuition fee - CFT-P; 
  • part-time with tuition fee - FRT-P. 

Places funded from the budget: 60 (of which: 1 place for Romanian citizens belonging to the Roma minority and 8 places for programmes that support the priority development areas of Romania, as defined by the National Strategy for Research, Innovation, and Smart Specialization 2022-2027), allocated by category as follows:

  • full-time with scholarship (budget) – CFB: 30 
  • part-time without scholarship (budget) – FRB: 30

 Places funded from the budget for Romanians abroad: 1 place without tuition fees, with scholarship
