Transilvania University of Brașov has succeeded in strengthening its international presence, being included in Shanghai Ranking 2024 with three entries in major fields of study. Transilvania University of Brașov has achieved recognition in fields such as Mathematics, Human Biology and Agricultural Sciences (Forestry). 

With a solid global performance, Transilvania University keeps proving its excellence in research and education, and thus enhances the prestige of higher education in Romania on the international level. 

Up from last year, when Romania was represented by 19 institutions in the international top Shanghai Ranking of Academic Subjects, for the various fields, in 2024 the number of institutions has reached 22, with Romanian universities that gain increasing visibility in fields such as Economic Sciences and Psychology, where they marked no presences last year.

The prestigious international top Shanghai Ranking features the best universities for 55 academic subjects. This year, it includes over 1,900 universities of 96 countries.
