Transilvania University of Brașov awarded its valedictorians this year as well. In a festive setting, the 21 graduates who obtained the highest average grades within their faculties over the first cycle of university studies were congratulated and rewarded for their academic achievements by the university’s management.

During the ceremony, the valedictorians received diplomas and prizes in both money and objects. Moreover, the ones who choose to continue their studies with a master’s degree programme still at Transilvania University of Brașov will also benefit from a study visit to a university abroad, and a laptop offered free by the university, as well as, if applicable, free accommodation and meal in the university’s dormitories and canteens.

Three faculties – the Faculty of Music, the Faculty of Product Design and Environment, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science – have each two valedictorians. The graduates of the Faculty of Music succeeded in completing the bachelor’s level of study with an average grade of 10. The valedictorians of all faculties obtained average grades over 9.50 upon completion of the first university cycle.

During the same ceremony, the winner of “Transilvania” Excellence Scholarship was also designated. This scholarship worth 2,500 RON is annually assigned to a single student who stands out through extraordinary academic results.

The Gala of Valedictorians is an event that has already become a tradition for Transilvania University of Brașov. For over ten years, the students obtaining the highest average grades at the end of the 3, 4 or 6 study years have been rewarded by the management of Transilvania University of Brașov within a special ceremony.
