On Wednesday, 15 November, starting at 2.00 p.m., we invite you to a conference that will bring up the phenomenon of mis- and disinformation, the potential solutions to prevent it and to reduce its impact on the human rights, by promoting critical thinking. Our guests will be Marian Voicu (journalist, the author of the book Matrioșka of Liars), Cătălin Gomboş (editor-in-chief of Veridica.ro), Marin Gherman (expert in the field of journalism and in mis- and disinformation, editorialist of Veridica.ro), Alexandru Gulei (expert in the field of human rights).
The project Fake News-Fake Reality is developed by Social Alternatives Association, in partnership with International Alliance of Romanian Journalists Association, and the County Centre for Resources and Educational Assistance of Iași, with the financial support of the Active Citizens Fund - Romania, a programme financed by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, through the EEA and Norway grants 2014-2021. 

The event will take place in Studio 181 Hall, on the ground floor of the Rectorate Building (29 Eroilor Blvd.).
