The results of the competition for the selection of members in the Green Team (EVER UNITBV) have been approved. The team composition consists of the students who registered their application files with the numbers:

Transilvania University of Brașov has launched the selection procedure for the members of the Green Team – UNITBV (EVER-UNITBV). The four Green Team members to be selected will conduct the following activities: 

  • centralise the energy consumption and energy production data from renewable sources within UNITBV (in collaboration with the Technical and Administrative Department - DTA);
  • make an inventory of the greenhouse gas emissions (direct and indirect) from UNITBV;
  • assess the UNITBV buildings in energy terms (thermal and electrical consumption);
  • propose and substantiate measures to reduce the carbon footprint (electricity and heat consumption, water consumption, waste, transport, etc.) within UNITBV;
  • promote carbon footprint reduction measures in dormitories, canteens and buildings (by making posters, ppt presentations, etc.) – to raise the awareness of the UNITBV community with respect to the development of a green campus;
  • participate in local, regional, national awareness events as regards the Green Deal and Green Sustainability concepts;
  • organise inter-dormitory competitions on reducing energy consumption and recycling waste; 

Calendar of the selection procedure:

8 - 20 April 2024– submission of cover letters and CVs to the Vice-Rector for Students (prorector-studenti-mediu.ext@unitbv.ro);
13 - 17 May 2024 – scheduling of the interviews;
18 May 2024 - completion of the process and establishment of the team structure.

The EVER-UNITBV members will receive special Student-Star type 3 scholarships.
