The Music Centre of Transilvania University of Brașov invites you to an event that marks the beginning of the University’s tenth Concert Season. The concert’s programme consists of a reference musical piece within the chamber repertoire, meant to enhance the performing refinement and elegance to a high degree of elevation. The Octet in F major D. 803 by Franz Schubert brings together a large chamber ensemble, made up of eight instrumentalists, in a genuine sound, visual and emotional feast, since the chosen musical piece explores a rich colour palette of the musical affect. The performers are Magdalena Suciu (1st violin), Ștefan Ignat (2nd violin), Andreea Tofănel (viola), Florin Craiu (cello), Iulian Hășfăleanu (double bass), Ionel Suciu (clarinet), Mihai Mărunțelu (bassoon), Cosmin Elisei (flugelhorn).
