Enter the competition for “Transilvania” Excellence Scholarship 2023!

Are you a UNITBV student and have you participated in various competitions, conferences, artistic events, achieving outstanding results? You can enter the competition for “Transilvania” excellence scholarship.
The scholarship amounts to 3,000 RON and it is awarded to a single student, in either a bachelor’s or a master’s degree programme. Thus, they who have received various awards or achieved outstanding results at national and international competitions can enter the competition until 16 June. A committee will analyse each student’s file and results; and, and depending on the score obtained, only one grantee of “Transilvania” excellence scholarship will be ascertained.
There are 10 criteria that will be taken into account for ranking the files:
1. Patent for invention/innovation - 100 points;
2. Awards at national or international professional competitions (1st prize - 50 points, 2nd prize - 40 points, 3rdprize - 30 points, mention - 20 points);
3. Award obtained in a national or international cultural-artistic competition (1st prize - 50 points, 2nd prize - 40 points, 3rd prize - 30 points, mention - 20 points);
4. Participation in prestigious national or international cultural events (individual or collective - 20 points/event);
5. Participation in international competitions (at the worldwide, Olympic, European, Balkan level – 20 points/competition;
6. First place obtained in national championships, other than university ones - 40 points;
7. Papers published in lSI journals with SRI - 100 points/first-authored paper, 70 points/co-authored paper;
8. Prizes obtained individually at scientific, cultural-artistic or sports events, at the international level (1st prize - 50 points, 2nd prize - 40 points, 3rd prize - 30 points);
9. Prizes obtained individually at scientific, cultural-artistic or sports events, at the national level (1st prize - 30 points, 2nd prize - 20 points, 3rd prize - 10 points);
10. Participation with papers in specialized conferences - 20 points.
The file will contain diplomas, certificates or any other documents attesting to the results and participation in the aforementioned competitions or conferences.
The student who will obtain the highest score will be declared the winner of “Transilvania” excellence scholarship.
Calendar of the competition:
- 6 - 16.06.2023 – submission of the files to the office of the Vice-Rector for Students and the Liaison with the Economic and Socio-cultural Environment, room 107, Rectorate building;
- 19.06.2023 – analysis of the files by the university scholarship committee;
- 20.06.2023 – announcement of the results;
- 21.06.2023 – the winner’s festive awarding within the Gala of Valedictorians
