Transilvania University of Brașov will mark the beginning of this year’s winter holidays with the concert held in the Evening of Saint Nicholas, which has already become a tradition very dear to and eagerly awaited by both the academic environment of Brașov and the music lovers everywhere. Valuable students of our University (Mădălina Bourceanu – soprano, Ioana Rucsanda – voice and Gabriel Pleșca – panpipes) will perform in this concert as soloists, accompanied by their colleagues - members in the Orchestra and Choir of the Faculty of Music, under the baton of the conductor Prof. Dr. Traian Ichim. The evening’s programme includes pieces of music well-known to the general audience, both from the classical repertoire and from the national and international repertoire of carols.
