Romanian Surveying Week
15 - 19 March, “Sergiu T Chiriacescu” Aula
On 15 March 2022, the Romanian Surveying Week (SGR) - the most important event of the Romanian surveyors’ community, will begin at Brașov; the event, organized by the Romanian Surveyors' Union (UGR), should have taken place in late October 2021.
The conference will be hosted in “Sergiu T. Chiriacescu” Aula by the Faculty of Silviculture and Forest Engineering within Transilvania University of Brașov.
This year’s international conference will be themed on “Smart surveying solutions for sustainable development”; and, during its 4 days, geodesy specialists and academic teaching personnel from both our country and abroad are expected to actively participate in the six technical sessions and two round tables, all of them covering topics of interest to the geodesic community.
Special guests at the event are representatives of the International Federation of Surveyors (FIG), the European Council of Surveyors (CLGE), but also of the National Agency for Cadastre and Real Estate Advertising, and the Employers' Association for Cadastre, Geodesy and Cartography.
On the second day of the conference, 17 March 2022, the UGR National Council will take place, which is expected to be attended, in addition to the members of the Executive Bureau and the Chairs of the UGR Commissions, by all the Chairs of the Union's Local Associations, as well.
Starting with the very first day of the Conference, the Technical Exhibition will be opened, where companies providing professional services in the field have already announced their presence.
