UNITBV, the highest ascent in CWUR 2021 ranking

Transilvania University of Brașov has seen this year the highest annual ascent (35 places) among the 10 Romanian universities included in Center for World University Ranking (CWUR), occupying the 1665th position. Transilvania University of Brașov entered this prestigious ranking of the best 2000 universities worldwide for the first time in 2019, at that time on the 1844th place. 

Only three universities in our country (Transilvania University of Brașov, West University of Timișoara and Politehnica University of Bucharest) succeeded in climbing in CWUR 2021 ranking. The other seven universities saw declines compared to last year, and one university was eliminated.

The ranking CWUR 2021, which has been published today, takes into account four performance indicators, namely the quality of education, the graduates’ prestige, the personnel’s quality and the performance of research.
