The virtual M.A. programme Engineering in Automotive Design has two optional study tracks in the 2nd year, Virtual Engineering in Automotive Mechanical Design and respectively Virtual Engineering in Electrical and Hybrid Automotive Design. The latter study track is especially dedicated to forming competences and skills for excellence research. The M.A. programme offers theoretical, applicative and practical training in the field of Engineering of Automotive Design, based on virtual-reality technologies, by developing applications upon the identification, structure, conception, design, manufacture and experimentation of issues related to conception, operation, construction and technology.

The M.A. study programme is interdisciplinary and inter-engineering, with emphasis on mechanical engineering. The main competences are related to: the students’ in-depth acquisition of current and future methods, techniques and technologies in terms of design and manufacture of propulsion systems, internal combustion engines in particular, as well as the student’s familiarization with current and future trends in terms of design and manufacture of propulsion systems; the acquisition and knowledge of advanced notions and terminology especially in the field of mechanical engineering, as well as of related engineering fields; the development of the necessary skills for the graduate of this M.A. study programme to approach the issue of product design and development by means of advanced methods, methodologies and technologies etc.

Using English as a working language, this research-oriented master’s programme extends over a two-year period (4 semesters, 120 ECTS). The curriculum is broad in scope and includes a series of subjects which approach intercultural and interdisciplinary communication from a wider, macrolinguistic perspective. What are the variables of intercultural communication? How can they be investigated systematically? What does the negotiation of meaning and message between different ethnic communities entail? These as well as others are issues that Language Studies for Intercultural Communication addresses. Within this programme, both teaching and learning are based on heuristic and participatory methods aimed at involving the students in individual and team-based projects, creating opportunities to integrate theory with practice. The programme is designed to enable students to cope with cultural diversity and decode it in the spirit of cultural and linguistic relativism, in order to maximize the effectiveness of communication in different cultural and professional contexts.
Curriculum: the core curriculum includes courses in research projects management, quantitative and qualitative methods in research, the construction of meaning in talk-in-interaction, written and spoken communication in professional settings, bilingual lexicography, translation, the theory and practice of subtitling, etc.

The part-time learning master’s degree programme Culture and Discourse in the Anglo-American World is conceived as an opportunity for graduate students to deepen their knowledge in the general field of the Humanities, being a master’s degree in Philology. The master program “CyberSecurity” is part of the fundamental domain of Engineering Sciences, the master studies in the domain of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informational Technologies (ETTI), in the science area of Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications. MSc EF offers a new approach to forestry and nature management markets and it connects the increasing number of forest-related issues with a European dimension at international as well as national levels. The objective of the MSc EF programme is to educate professionals who have a thorough understanding of a sustainable forest bioeconomy as well as the European business culture. The Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Master’s degree programme (in English) is conducted in partnership with the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, a reputed university in the field. The specific disciplines are taught by experienced professors, engaged in international programmes at this university. The prestige of TCM University in Beijing, one of our partners and collaborators, is acknowledged by ranking first in the hierarchy of TCM universities in China.
The Master’s degree programme broadly aims to provide knowledge derived from recent research in the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine, its main objectives being the application of the principles of evidence-based medicine to the field of Traditional Chinese Medicine, along with the acquisition of knowledge on the principles and methods of Traditional Chinese Medicine. This will also enable the students to test the therapeutic benefits of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
The programme primarily addresses graduates of medical studies and offers them informed motivation and solid grounds for potential involvement in specialized studies in the practice of acupuncture or other therapeutic methods of the TCM.
The study offers only full-time courses and extends over 2 years (4 semesters). The students acquire theoretical, applicative and practical knowledge in applied informatics, based on the latest technologies; advanced theoretical knowledge and skills for the development of cutting-edge applications using Internet technologies; theoretical, applicative and practical knowledge as regards the specification, design and development of software systems, the operation, administration and security of computing systems, of communication networks, of distributed database management systems, of clusters especially for the mobile phone in e-business; development of communication skills in a foreign language (German and English) and of interdisciplinary collaboration skills specific to the manufacture/use of software systems in Internet/Intranet, especially for the mobile phone. The M.A. study programme MITB awards a double diploma to the graduates who will study 2 semesters at TU Ilmenau University in Germany and 2 semesters at Transilvania University of Braşov. The student will avail him/herself of the M.A. diploma from the university where (s)he completes his/her M.A. studies. Travels to the partner university will be made through DAAD and/or EU Erasmus+ programme.

The curriculum of this M.A. programme has been designed in line with the general orientation of the national higher education, it capitalizes on the Faculty of Letters specialists’ expertise and it brings forward the cultural, literary and linguistic specificity of the Transylvanian region. The course and seminar activities have an interactive nature and they focus on forming intercultural competencies compliant with the requirements of the globalized world, on giving impetus to research and teamwork capacities, as well as to individual originality and creativity. The seminar and specialized practical activities aim at developing research skills from an intercultural and interdisciplinary perspective.

The 4-semester Master's degree in "French Language and Literature Studies" is interdisciplinary and focuses on the latest research areas in language and literature studies, as well as cultural studies in general. This programme comes as a complement to the already existing "Cultural Innovation" programme, this time with a French specificity and a new perspective on interdisciplinarity. The programme also includes subjects dealing with translation and traductology, which is an undeniable practice in any branch of the humanities, but situates literature and language within the broad frameworks of the dynamics of today's world.
